In 1919, we had Einstein's eclipse, this one I'll refer to as Shakespeare's eclipse because it was much ado about nothing. From Canberra Australia the eclipse was only 0.6%. The air is so clear that the Sun is usually too bright to look at even when it is setting and lacks any colour. But yesterday with bush fires burning to the west of the city the colour was spectacular so I took this time lapse using a 200mm f4 lens set to f8 with a Baader shutter speeds varied from 1/250 - 1/4 with the filter. The image of the setting sun and background sky was taken without a filter at f22 1/4000 sec all at ISO 100. I have an action in Photoshop that I used to rack and stack the images then I applied an alpha mask to them so that they all show up.
